Entitled ‘Bugi’, after Thelonious’s friend who travelled through the sahara desert to Libya in the devastating journey of human trafficking from Africa to Europe.

By placing this classical representation of a Roman bust on the ground, Thelonious uses space to activate the social dialogue around ‘high art’.
